Get To Know Me Tag!

Hello everyone, how are you?

I've been meaning to do a 'Tag' post for a while but haven't found one I want to do. I've seen a 'Spring Tag' knocking about but I think I wouldn't have very interesting answers to the questions.

I know tags are usually on YouTube videos but I don't make videos however I still think some tags are fun so I'm going to do the ones I like in written, blog, form!

I won't explain that every time I write a tag post, I just thought I'd explain this first time!

So on with the tag...

Get To Know Me Tag!

Vital Stats:

Name  - Leanne. M. R.
Nicknames - I've never had one. Is this boring?
Birthday - 7th Jan '93
Place of Birth - Manchester, UK
Star Sign - Capricorn
Occupation - Student! (A lazy one)

Appearance:

Hair colour - Blonde, currently.
Hair length - Medium/long. At the moment it's half way down my back, I'd like to be able to sit on it eventually and use it as a scarf, that kinda thing.
Eye colour - Blue
Best feature - I'll leave this for others to decide haha.
Braces -Nope, but I always wanted them. I think they're so cute.
Piercings - I have my tongue pierced (keeping' it classy), I have a scaffolding / industrial piercing and my anti-tragus pierced. Hoping to get my nape pierced (back of the neck) and my wrist pierced over the summer.
Tattoos - Nope. Definitely not against it. Really, really want one perhaps on my thigh, arm or back of my neck. I'm too indecisive at the moment to be permanently tattooing myself though.
Righty or Lefty - Right. I went through a weird stage in life once upon a time trying to teach myself how to write with my left hand so I could be one of them cool people who uses both.

Firsts:

Best friend - My first, and remains to this day, best friend is a girl called Gina. We've known each other since reception in primary school. She's a cool bean. :)
Award - My first award. I'm not an award winner to be honest. Probably something in school for attendance or something. I'm not a huge participator in group activities.
Sport -First sport? I don't understand the question. I vividly remember reluctantly having to run the 300m race in Yr7 on sports day. It was shit. I came 3rd of 6. -_-
Real Holiday - I first went abroad at 18months old. I can't remember much of it. I do remember being in a park with my cousin at one point and I remember telling my mum she was clever pushing the trolly with one hand. Can babies even talk when they're 18 months? I swear I remember saying it. My favourite holidays were the ones where we went to Florida. Gotta go there again.
Concert - My VERY first concert was going to watch the Pop Idols at Wembley Arena in like 2004 I think. Do you remember Pop Idol? The one when Will Young won? That's what we went to see.

Favourites

Film - I always struggle with this question! I watch so many films. I love anything with Johnny Depp in it for a kick off. But I love horror. Horror is my genre. I love being scared. I love horror films, programmes, books, documentaries; everything. As far as my favourite film, I love Chucky, you know the killer doll? I first watched one of the films when I was about 13 and I just love them. I even have the dolls.
TV Show - A series has just finished called 'Lightfields' Did anyone see it? It was so good. I don't really have something I avidly watch every week. I loved 'Lost' though, I watched every series on Netflix in about 2 weeks :D. I like to watch history documentaries I know that's weird and I like 'Grand Designs'.  I watch the F1 but it's on Sky now not the BBC so I can't watch it, only the highlights. I also like to watch Snooker!
Colour - Greeeeeeeeeeeen. And black. How morbid.
Song - One of my favourite songs is 'The Face' by Kings of Leon. But I have many favourite songs, that just springs to mind first! It really depends what mood I'm in.
Restaurant - I don't really have one. I like Chinese take-outs! Is Costa coffee a restaurant?
Store - Tricky. I prefer shopping online for clothes. I like Boots and Superdrug. :)
Book - My English degree has seriously hurt my view of books. 'The Catcher in the Rye' was my favourite book for a long time but I got to Uni and discovered that it was everyone's favourite book. I like 'The Strange Case of Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde' and I like 'The Interview with the Vampire' by Anne Rice.
Magazine - no.
Shoes - I like to wear boots.

Currently...

Feeling - Tired. Square Eyes. Headache. Need coffee. That kinda shiz.
Eating - Nothing. Going to brew up after writing this though. Coffee get. in. ma. belleh.
Listening to - My laptop make strange noises and my typing.
Thinking about - The answers to these questions. My need for coffee.
Watching - My screen.
Wearing - PYJAMAS!

Future:

Want Children - Only if they're identical twins.
Want to be married - Wouldn't say no.
Careers in mind - TEFL.
Where do you want to live - Australiaaaaaaaa. Somewhere with sun and where Bearded Dragons roam free.

Do you believe in:

God - No. I have 'beliefs'  but they ain't in God or any other established religion. They're more philosophical. I was christened though.
Miracles - Well I haven't experienced one yet.
Love at first sight - I believe in Lust at first sight.
Ghosts - Sometimes. I haven't made my mind up.
Aliens - Yes. It's a selfish thing to think humans are the ONLY living thing in the WHOLE UNIVERSE.
Soul Mates - I think some people belong together, yes.
Heaven - I'd like to think there's something.
Hell - Once again, I'd like to think there's something.
Kissing on the first date - Hell yeah.
Yourself - Ooo deep. Yes, yes I do.

A Surprise Present from Tom!

Hello, again, everyone!

For the third time today! Making up for the lack of posts recently. I told you I had lots to talk about.

As I'm sure you know already, I'll stop banging on about it after this post I promise! Monday was Biffy day and I wanted to share with you the surprise present my boyfriend, Tom, gave me that day which I wore for the gig.

He bought me this absolutely gorgeous Pandora bracelet. It's white and has a leather strap and he bought a silver charm with hearts all around it to go on it. I can put more charms on it but I think it suits just one. He got it in the small size which is good because I have really small wrists and with most bracelets they slide around and I'm scared of them slipping off. This is not the case with Pandora bracelet, it fits perfectly and I love it, it's beautiful!

Sorry it's a bit fuzzy my iPhone camera is just not up to it!

That's all I want to say about it really. I'm not reviewing it or anything I'm just showing it off because I love it so much :D

I know Tom will read this because I asked him whether I should write about it so Thank You so many TomTom <3 Love you!

The bag it came in!
The Box it came in!

Thanks for reading!

A Show and Tell Session :)

Hey everyone!

This is my second post today. Let's see if it ends up getting published today.

I went to le shops with Tom last Sunday and I went into Superdrug for a bottle of Batiste as, in my books, it is the Holy Grail of dry shampoos and a single bottle only lasts me about a week :(

I came out of the shop with not just a bottle of dry shampoo but a variety of makeup products I really don't need. But it seemed like I definitely did need them when I was picking them up in the shop.

The particular Superdrug I was in I've never been to before but I'm not lying, it has the best range of makeup I've ever seen in a drugstore kinda shop. I think this is why I got a bit excited. In fairness, I actually didn't buy that much, I'm just trying not to buy makeup at the moment and failing miserably.

By 'best range of makeup' I mean it stocks brands such as MUA, Beauty UK, Fashionista, brands which I usually only find online. I know a lot of Superdrugs stock MUA and Beauty UK but they usually don't stock the entire range. Ramble, ramble....

On with the show.

So most of what I bought is from Fashionista, I have plenty of MUA in my life at the moment but no fashonista so hello, welcome.

I'm not sure if they were having a bit of a sale, I can't remember,  but their products were decently priced.

First, I picked up a single 'Baked Eyeshadow' it says 'Double Take' on the back but it also says 'Golden Dragon shade 2' so one of them it its name. It's a green/blue colour merged with gold. The colour pay off is actually really good and it is definitely buildable if you want it to look more intense. The shadow is a shimmer with a few flecks of glitter. It is definitely not matt. The reason I picked this up is because I'm currently doing an online makeup course and it says that blue eyes should be paired with 'rainbow colours'. I wish they'd elaborated on this point. But green is a rainbow colour isn't it? So I have justified my purchase haha :)

The single eyeshadows were £4 and they are de-potable you can just take the pan out of the box. They sell empty pallets if you have a few shades and want to put them in a palette. I feel like I have to collect enough to buy a palette now, I've never custom made a palette before.

Also from Fashionista, I bought a gel eyeliner in a shade which, unfortunately, I can't tell you as I've just realised I took the sticker off the back to open it. I'll describe it. It is a navy blue colour with vast amounts of green and blue glitter particles packed in there. It reminds me of a mermaid. I bought it because I always wear a black liquid liner so I need something dark on my eyes and this was just too pretty to pass on. I think it was £6. It is very very pretty though.

Lastly, from Fashionista, I picked up the 'Skin Brightening' face highlighter in the shade Sun Shine. It comes in a white tube and you get 35ml of product which is really good as it only cost me £3, however, it was on offer I think it's more like £6 normally. It's a creamy consistency which is what drew me to it originally. I have a lose powder highlighter from MAC which isn't something you can quickly apply without getting powder everywhere.

It claims that it 'smooths and brightens complexion' and it says on the back 'perfect skin enhancer, containing light-diffusing particles that deliver instant luminosity to your complexion.' I think it's just supposed to give you a healthy, summery glow. I like it. :)

Very, very lastly from Superdrug, I finally got my hands on the Collection 'Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer'. Woah what a mouthful. I got it in shade Fair which is the lightest, I am tres pale. And all I can say is that it really is worth the hype. I've been battling with an old Rimmel concealer for years which is probably why I don't have any luck with it anymore. It is a different consistency than I'm used to as my Rimmel one looks like a lipstick concealer whereas the Collection one is a liquid.

It blends very well and dries almost instantly covering any redness or under eye darkness. I think it comes in around the £3.99 mark which is very good value. I've only used it two or three times but I know it'll become a staple in my routine. It could even pass as a constitute foundation if you didn't want to cake your face.

Left-Right, Gel Eyeliner, eyeshadow, highlighter. Top picture without flash, bottom picture with flash.

Continuing. I know this is a long post but I just want to get this last thing in quickly. A few days ago I was having a sniff of some perfumes in my room which had about one last spray left in them. My room smelt lovely afterwards haha. I found a little sample bottle of the Cacharel perfume 'Amor Amor' and the scent of it just brought back memories of the first time I went to Walt Disney World years and years ago. It was such a surreal moment I could just remember walking around DownTown Disney at night. It sounds so cliche but I just HAD to buy a new bottle of it to savour the memories. Has anyone else experienced this? It's so weird how a scent brings back memories. I find it happens with certain air fresheners too. It's unreal, makes you feel such nostalgia.

Anyway, I went on a few websites and the cheapest I could find was an EBay seller (I'll list it below if I can find it) who was selling 30ml bottles for £16.50 and free delivery. I think that price isn't too bad and I just really really wanted it.

If you're interested, The description on The Fragrance Shop is: 'Amor Amor has top notes of citrus, notes of grapefruit, mandarin, and blood orange followed by middle notes of lily of the valley and melati flower. Base notes of vanilla, sandalwood, grey amber, and white musk.' You cannot smell the musk at all. I hate the smell of musk, it gets caught in my throat and I just find it highly unappealing so don't worry about the musk smell if you're not a fan either.

And that is it. That is all. What a long long post for such a few products. Hope you weren't bored to tears. If you're still reading, thank you very much. Please leave a comment with your thoughts or questions. I would love to hear from you!

LINKS!

Amor Amor from Ebay
This is where I purchased my bottle of the perfume. There are obviously other websites, however, I received mine today and I can vouch that the product is legit. It comes packaged well and delivery was quick. I actually found it a tiny bit cheaper after I'd already placed my order on Amazon but I can't say what the product comes like as I didn't buy it there. The link to that one is here.

(If you have any problems with the links let me know and I'll send you them again).

Biffy Clyro in Manchester!

Helloooo everyone! How are you?

I have plenty to talk about and show you after having a few days with no posts so I have a few coming your way :)

Tom and I went to Biffy this Monday in Manchester and it was absolutely brilliant! He is amazing live and I want it to be Monday again and again and again!

One of the few pictures I took.

They performed a mixture of their music, they started with 'Different People' from their 'Opposites' album followed by 'Golden Rule' from 'Only Revolutions' this was one of my favourites, I love the instrumental at the end.

They sang quite a lot from their older albums 'Puzzle', 'Blackened Sky' and 'Infinity Land' However, I can't remember if they performed any from 'The Vertigo of Bliss' Has anyone seen the album artwork for this? Controversial springs to mind hahaha, brill.

They also sang a mixture of rock and some of their slower songs such as 'Machines', 'God and Satan' and 'Many of Horror'. Songs that really stood out for me were 'Who's Got a Match' from their 'Puzzle' album, 'Golden Rule' as I've already mentioned and 'Mountains' which they came back on and sang at the very end. There are definitely more songs that I loved but I may as well just list the whole concerts worth. They were all top notch.

As I mentioned in a post a while back I wore the skirt and jumper that I planned to wear, I wore my studded dolly shoes and my black leather jacket. I did feel a bit over dressed though the majority of people there were just in jeans and Vans but hey ho! :) Fashion over warmth?

My outfit and mysteriously wonky eye :/
Tom und Ich.

Overall, Tom and I had a really good night and the music definitely made up for the fact that you have to part with a fiver for a shitty pint of lager. Afterwards we went to a bar called Revolution on Oxford Road. Has anyone been there? What do you think? It's not really my cuppa tea to be honest but the drinks were half price. Tom and his friends were drinking Chilli flavoured shots, not for the faint hearted I must say. They smelt horrendous.

Add about another 3 rows. That's how much they drank.

The MEN were advertising the Kings of Leon tour, they're coming to Manchester in June and Oh My Gosh I need to be there. Makes me sad that the tickets are £75 and probably sold out by now.

Has anyone been to or have any upcoming concerts? Let me know I'd love to read your posts! :D

This was definitely going to be a post on more topics but I'll just leave this one for now, it's long enough! haha

The Chilli shots. Sorry it's a tad blurry!

A chat and shopping!

Helloooo everyone!
How are you? You got that Friday feeling?

I went shopping yesterday avec the Mother and accidentally bought a few things (naughty) which I thought I'd share with you all :)

I'm having a major chill out afternoon, I had to leave for uni at half 8 this morning for my 10am lesson so I've come home to have a well deserved (how dramatic of me) chill out with my laptop, blogger, keynote, foot massager and a cuppa coffee! Just painted my nails too. I do know how to treat myself haha

I have a presentation on metaphors due on Monday (18th) which I also have to finish. Have you ever heard such a thing? A 10 minute presentation on metaphors! I didn't think it was possible but my last few lessons have proved me wrong. I study English and Linguistics incase you're wondering.

Anyway, onwards...

As you may or may not know, Tom and I are going to see Biffy Clyro in just over a week. I'm sooooo excited, the tickets were booked about 6 months ago but it's come round unbelievably fast. Another thing adding to my epic excitement is that I finish my second year of uni next Friday! Woo! *does dance*. Granted, I still have my exams in May but lesson wise, I've finished and I genuinely could not be happier. It's whizzed by this academic year, for me, but I am definitely ready to see the back of the place for a few months (and by 'a few' I mean 6 and a half months haha) . Students do lead a cushy life style.

Back to Biffy and the shopping haha, we went in Oasis, which to be honest is something I rarely do, and I picked up these shoes. They're navy blue suede material with grey studs all around the side. I've been looking for some studded shoes for ages so I'm glad I found these. I'm thinking I might wear them with the outfit I've picked out for Biffy instead of my creepers. What do you think?

The light on the picture makes them look fluffy :/ They're not, promise!

The shoes were £20, down from £35, which is not bad at all. They have a really decent sole on the bottom unlike the dolly shoes you might find in Primark for a few quid which I suppose is reflected in the price. Don't get me wrong, I love Primark I just think sometimes you need a decent pair of shoes that will last a while and don't make you feel like you're just walking on the concrete haha. Also, I didn't know this but Oasis actually offer a 15% student discount. One of the really lovely workers there told us which was kind as they don't advertise it. However, I'm not sure whether the discount is permanent or just temporary.

I've had my eyes pealed for a purple coloured lipstick for a while now. I've seen the lilac coloured MAC lipstick in the Nicki Minaj range but I wanted something darker than that. I think there's one called Rebel by MAC which looks really nice so if this doesn't work out for me I'll be investing in that. So I have taken quite a liking to Top Shop makeup recently and I'd seen the purple lip crayon and thought this was the kinda thing I was looking for. Once I got there the lipstick 'All about me' caught my eye and asked me to take it home. So I did :)

Lip Crayon in 'Arcade' ,  Lipstick in 'All about me'.

Now, credit where credit's due, I wore the lipstick today for uni so I applied it around 8am and it is still going strong at 20 to 5. I don't think I've ever experienced such a long lasting lipstick (what does this say about my lipstick range? haha) I don't know if this is just a one off and it's all down hill from here but I have genuinely had it on all day, eaten things, drank things and it's only just starting to wear away now. 10 outta 10 Top Shop!

Lastly, I have been collecting Boots points on my card for a very long time to buy the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser. The reason I didn't just out-right buy it is because I'm very picky and to be completely honest lazy when it comes to cleansers and moisturisers etc so I didn't want to be let down if I spent £15 on it and never used it. I haven't had the chance to try it yet but hopefully I will do tonight or in the very near future. I'm expecting marvellous things like miracles from this. I'll let you all know how it goes!

I got the started kit which comes with a 100ml bottle, 2 muslin cloths and a step-by-step guide.

And that's it for my little show and tell / ramble on session. I'm off to dry my feet as the water's gone cold in the massager thingy, try to finish my presentation!

If you have any thoughts or questions leave them below and I'll answer them, I'd love to hear from you!

I cannot find the links for Arcade lip crayon or the Liz Earle on the Boots website. I'm sorry :(

P.s. I have NO idea why the writing here is ridiculously small. It's peeing me off!

Makeup of the day! 14/3/13

Hello everyone! Hope you're doing well!

I have a quick spur-of-the-moment post for you showing off my makeup today using the Ammo 2 palette.

I used the colour Maui-wowie on my lid, Mildew on the crease of the lid and a little towards the brow bone and Polyester Bride on my brow bone. I think it worked out really lovely.

This is my second time using the shadows in the palette and although I love the colours and they make really pretty looks I feel like you really do have to pile the colour on to get them to show up. Is this just me?

Nonetheless, I really do love the colours, they're not what I usually work with and they're a really nice change.

My eyes
If you're interested, I have used L'Oreal's Super Liner and MaxFactor's Xperience Volumising mascara, both in black.

On my lips, I have NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in San Paulo :)

Without a flash :)

Sorry for some of the weird lighting I took them quite early this morning and the sun wasn't quite sure what it wanted to do with itself! haha

Hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for reading!

P.s. Tom, if you're reading this, YO!

Ammo 2 by Urban Decay!

Hi everyone!

Had a little surprise off the postman this morning. I ordered Urban Decay's new and revamped Ammo palette but forgot all about it so I was quite excited when it arrived this morning :)

I have both the Naked palettes which are obviously all neutral colours like bronze and brown etc and I also have other neutral palettes such as the Stila neutral palette and some from MUA and Sleek so I decided to go for something with some nice colours and variety in it for Spring and Summer as Spring is now upon us even though you wouldn't know it with the snow today!

I ordered it off the Debenhams website because they had 10% off all their ranges and free delivery so the palette actually cost £20.70 as apposed to the £23 RRP price. It came packaged really well and there was no damage to the product in any way. Woo! It also comes with a free travel-size eyeshadow primer and brush.

So the picture above shows the colours with a flash (top) and without a flash (bottom). I couldn't make up my mind which reflected the colours in their truest form so just added them both.

The colours I'm most excited about are Last Call, Grifter and Polyester Bride, I think they'll look prettyyy together.

There are a few colours I already have from the Naked palettes such as Smog and Sin but hey ho, it was only £20 :)

I also really love the packaging. That contributed to me actually buying it haha I'm such a sucker for things like that.

Now I just can't wait for Mr.Sunshine to make an appearance so I can wear some pretty colours onnn ma face.

What do you think of Ammo 2? Will you be buying it?

I feel like I've been shopping...

...but I haven't.

Hi Everyone!
How are you? :)

Tomorrow, The Mother, The Boyfriend and I are doing a car-boot sale. Clearing out some things we're never going to use again in the hope that someone else might.

The problem is, the only thing I've done all day is find cool things I don't want to sell haha.

Does anyone else do this? have a little Spring clean and find things you'd forgotten about, thought you'd lost or just grown legs and walked outta your bedroom.

Personally, I've discovered that I own far too many bags. It is not plausible for one single person to need so many bags. But I can't part with them :( What if I need them?!

Fairly, I have actually parted with 3 of my bags.

Anyway, amongst some of the crap for want of a better word, I have found some cool things including some mini lip glosses and nail varnishes which makes me tres happy because it's like going shopping but not spending any mulas! :)

Lip glosses, perfume, impulse, lip balms :)

Nail varnishess :)

Hahaha, thought I'd include this little gem. I found this picture in our loft just chilling on the floor! I'm on the left, laughing with a dummy on my shoulder :/ hmm. And my sister, Sophie, is on the right looking miserable as sin!

Things I've decided to sell include some books, coats and cardigans, my prom dress, some heels which I really can't walk in and some electrical items. There's also a tennis racket in there somewhere :/

Anyway, thanks for reading (if you're still here haha) and I promise I'll have more interesting posts coming soon. Including some new makeups :D and maybe a makeup collection.. haven't decided about that one yet, let me know what you think!

My Biffy Clyro Getup!

Hello everyone!

Just a little post to share with you my outfit plans for my up and coming Biffy Clyro concert!

I have the River Island app on my phone and saw a few things in the sale which I thought would look really lovely together.

My finds:

First off I found this lovely shiny cream skater dress. It comes with a thin, black studded belt which complements it very much :) It feels sooo swooshy and pretty. Almost feel that it's a bit too pretty for a Biffy concert haha. I'll wear it nonetheless!

The skirt cost £10 in the sale, I think it was £25 originally, so get in there fast if you're fancying it, click HERE :)

To pair avec my pretty skirt I found this glittery lilac coloured jumper which i'm going to tuck inside the skirt :) What do you think?

If you'd like to have a gander yourself, click HERE.

The jumper cost £15 and is £35 when not in the sale. Altogether with the shipping this little number cost £29 ish. Not bad eh?

I plan to wear maybe some black creepers to Biffy it up a bit haha.

Thanks for reading!

My Favourite Youtubers!

Hellooo everyone :)

This is my third post today so I'm not quite sure whether I'll post it today or save it for tomorrow. hmm.

Anyway, In this post I'm going to talk about my favourite YouTubers. People whose every video I will watch, people who I find interesting, funny and entertaining; things like that. There is quite an array of people and channels, not just one category. Sorry for the jumbled mess :D

Sooo, In no particular order: (haha I sound like Dermot on the X Factor)

NUMMER EINS

I recently found a YouTuber called 'grav3yardgirl', she's from Texas and she makes videos about beauty, paranormal shiz and just general life. She is ridiculously funny and doesn't take herself too seriously. I'd definitely recommend her channel if you haven't seen her already.

ZWEI

Another channel I enjoy is 'Sprinkleofglitter'. She's very popular on YouTube so you've probably already seen her but I thought I'd mention her channel because I always watch her videos :) She also makes beauty and vlog videos. She's such a happy person, she's just one of them people who gives off a cheerful vibe and her videos are uplifting and pleasant to watch.

DREI

Another channel I enjoy is 'missbudgetbeauty'. I actually started watching her vlog channel first as she did Vloguary and things like that. I think the reason I enjoy her videos so much is because she's from the UK and lives in The North so, I don't know, I just feel like that's one of the reasons I like to watch her videos. Weird :/

VIER

Ok so I've watched this YouTuber, Jenny, for such a long time, way, way over a year. I found her channel as I was watching Jenna Marble's 'How to trick people into thinking you're good looking' video and she had created a video response which just lead me to watch her videos. When I watch her videos or go on her channel it always reminds me of when I re-decorated my room during Easter time in 2010 haha. She isn't the most popular YouTuber in that she doesn't get amazing amounts of views like other channels, however, she's definitely getting there and I'm sure she'll get more and more popular very soon. I also enjoy her vlog channel, I think it's called 'shoopslife'.

FUNF (Can't work out how to get the little dots on top of the U!)

This channel is called 'meisterlehnsherr' and it is a German channel. As I study German as part of my degree, I find this channel soo useful as he uploads videos such as 'German word of the day'. He also creates vlogs at festivals and just hanging about with his friends. His English is really really good so you don't need to worry that you won't understand the videos. I struggle to find German vloggers, one other I've found is called 'sandynmakessense' who is a German student studying in England but she rarely uploads videos :( Anyway, this channel is very useful if you are learning German!

And thats it, they are my most watched YouTube channels at the moment. Hopefully I've inspired you to watch some new people you may never have discovered and sorry this has been slightly long-winded. I've had such a shenanigan trying to write it, as written above, I didn't finish it that day, it's now like three days later. I wrote and finished this post and accidentally deleted it so I've had to write it all again. It's fun the first time, the second time's just repetitive!

So I'm going to go now and just bask in the glory of my new shoes (see previous post :D) so that I can't accidentally delete it again!

If you have any thoughts or recommendations of channels I may enjoy, feel free to comment below, I'd love to hear from you!

Blazerssss!

Helloooo everyone!

Hope you're all doing well:)

This is just a short post of me showing off my new Blazers from Tomtom :D I loooove them, and I can't wait to wear them!

They're black with a grey tick and they are exclusive to JD so if you fancy them that's the place to be!

Also, they're in the junior sizes so I'm not sure whether you can get them in adult sizes but they definitely go up to size 5.5 at least :)

Anyway, let's all just bask in the sexiness of my new shoozez:

They probably don't float everyone's boat but they definitely do mine haha

Let me know what you think in the comments, I'd love to hear from you!

Hector The Bearded Dragon!

Good afternoon everyone!

I have written posts on makeup, shopping and trips away, however, I've never written a post on my little Hector.

'Where the hunnies attt??'

Hector is my Bearded Dragon. I've had him since April 2012 and he's about 18 months old. I don't know where the name Hector came from, I wanted to give him a reptile name rather than a name you might give a cat or a dog. Hector fit that criteria.

As reptiles aren't really 'typical' pets, I'll explain why I wanted him. Basically, my sister pestered my dad for a gecko for many moons and eventually she was allowed one (she has two now, Jax and Ivy). When shopping for said gecko, we saw some baby bearded dragons and instantly I wanted one.

A few months passed and bearded dragons were still on my mind, I really really wanted one. I thought they were so cute and unusual! Anyway, one morning my sister and I planned to go shopping but before we had to go and buy food for her gecko. And that's when I bought Hector. He was just chilling in the shop like TAKE MEH HOME! So I did :)

Hector cost £55 as he wasn't a complete baby, he was a little bit older. At the time I didn't want a bambino lizard but now I have a craving to buy a baby one. They. Are. Adorable. Plus, Hector needs a woman in his life. Hector's tank and set up cost £140. He has a large tank with rocks and logs to climb on a heat mat, a heat lamp and a UV bulb amongst other things. I just love him.

If you'd like to check out my Instagram you'll find many a picture of him. The first picture I ever put on there was of Hector the day I got him. He's my little bambino :)

Hope you're all having a wonderful day, leave your questions/comments below; I'd love to hear from you :)

Make use of your left over jars!

Hi everyone!

You know all them candle jars, perfume packages and make up boxes you have left over? Don't just throw them away! With a little imagination you can create storage jars and new little candle holders with such gems :)

I know that the majority of people already know about this so I thought I'd create a post giving some ideas and inspiration for using and decorating your left over containers.

So, let's get crackalacking!

I have acquired quite a few empty glass candle jars and perfume boxes etc over the last few months and have put them to great use:

Last year MaxFactor were giving away a box full of makeup samples if you spent over a certain amount on their cosmetics. After taking the samples out I used the tin to hold sketching pencils on my desk:

MaxFactor container tin.

Additionally, I have a few bottles of the Jean Paul Gaultier perfume for women. The bottle comes in a tin and considering the bottle is so pretty I thought why not have the bottles on display and use the tins for holding shiz?

So I did:

I used one for holding makeup pencils such as eyeliners, lipliners, pencil eyeshadows. The tin was a little bit too tall so I placed some pebbles from Ikea, which were about 75p for a bag, at the bottom of the tin so I could see the pencils.

The other one, I just filled with nail varnishes which were lying about my room :) Very effective!

For some reason unknown to man-kind, my mum once bought a jar of Douwe Egberts coffee :/ The stuff is vile. Kenco all the way! However, the glass jar the coffee came in is tres pretty! So I nabbed that from the kitchen :D It is now the proud holder of my makeup brushes; of which I have few. I layered the bottom of the jar with some yellow bath crystals I know I'll never use and it looks lovely.

The Jar on the right is the fancy coffee jar.

Old cotton bud (Q-tip) boxes have proved relatively useful for me too. I collect 1p, 2p and 5pence coins as I really can't be bothered carrying them about in my purse. When I get a decent amount I'll make them to a 'coin-star' or something.

Now, candle jars! I love glass candle jars, they're so pretty and useful :)

In an old Yankee candle jar I have little bits of makeup such as single eyeshadows and blushes which are usually just hidden away in a draw. In the little candle jar I have two little blushes and a small kabuki brush. And in the last jar I have pens, pencils and scissors which sit on my desk :)

Three little candles which now hold cotton buddies, cotton pads for nail varnish removal and hair clips.

Candle jars can be little buggers to clean out but I used this video which made it much easier than trying to dig all the wax out haha.

I hope this post inspired you to start putting shiz in jars and I think I'll be doing a post on decorating them because that's my plan with mine :)

If you have any questions/thoughts or ideas on decoration leave your comments below, I'd love to hear from you :)

Thanks for reading and see you next time.
