My New Camera! (Samsung Galaxy Camera | EK-GC100)

Hellooo everyone!

This might seem a little crazy if you saw my last camera post HERE but, yes, I have another new camera.

I am now the proud owner of the new Samsung Galaxy Camera (EK-GC100) and I'll say right now that I absolutely LOVE IT.

The Samsung WB150F featured in my last camera post has now gone back to the shop. Don't get me wrong, it's a really good camera considering it's price (£100) but unfortunately it wasn't the one I wanted. You know when you just have your mind set on something and nothing is going to be as good as it? That was me!

I settled for it at first because I only wanted to spend £100 or less but it didn't really suit my needs. I really wanted something WiFi and more technical and very high quality and that just wasn't it and I was extremely put off that it wasn't compatible with my MacBook which was my main reason for buying it. Do not be put off by my views though if you're thinking about buying it. I'm leaving that post up because my opinions on it are true, it just wasn't the one for me.

Now on to more exciting topics!

If you're looking for a versatile, high quality, technical compact camera. This will definitely tickle your fancies. As a blogger I was so attracted to it because of all the features it has. This thing works in the same way a tablet would. You can download all your favourite Android apps the same way you would on a Samsung phone or tab, for example Instagram, Facebook, Email, Google+, even Blogger! It makes for such enjoyable and easy photo taking and sharing, you wouldn't believe it. That is what drew me in to this camera aside from the fact that it takes amazing pictures and records in full HD!

It has 16 Megapixels and a 21x optical zoom. You can not take a bad picture on it, everything is crystal clear. I took some pictures of Hector in his tank to show you:

(His background is blurry, the picture was blown up when printed off so that's not the camera, it if you're wondering).

The camera has a large 4.8" touch screen which works extremely well. Sometimes I find touch screens aren't as sensitive as they should be but this one works wonderfully. Also, the devise itself feels high quality. One thing I didn't like about the WB150F was that it felt plasticky but this one doesn't at all.

Overall, I am so happy with this camera. I've only had it for 2 days so I'm still learning with it, I don't know the full extent of what it can do but so far I am very impressed and I can't wait to start taking stunning pictures on it for my blog and out and about!

Price wise, there's a huge difference between this one and the one I took back, coming in at the same price as some of the DSLRs out there. If you'd like to have a look for yourself and read more of the spec. etc. you can view it HERE

Are you looking forward to some amazing blog photos? I am!!
