The Christmas Tag 2013!

Hello Everyone!

Since we're nearing Christmas Day frighteningly quick, I thought I'd do the Christmas Tag!
If you're reading this, consider yourself tagged and leave a link to your answers in the comments so I can have a read!

Hope you're all having a lovely December, enjoy!

1. What's your favourite holiday movie?

This is one of them questions where I'll write something then remember in a few hours what my real favourite Christmas film is! I'm going to say Home Alone, purely because the slapstick comedy in it cracks me up every time. It also reminds me of my school days, we always used to watch it in my art lessons at Christmas time. Just a light hearted festive film.

It's funny though because I was having a discussion in my English class about Home Alone a few weeks ago, and we saying that when you think about it, the parents are really bad, who forgets their child and goes on holiday?! Also, who makes their child go to sleep in the loft? I could go on... I know it's only a film and should be taken with a pinch of salt, but when you think about it, it's quite dark.

Anyway, that was rambly. Favourite festive film. Home Alone.

2. What are your favourite Christmas colours?

I love dark berry and plum colours at Christmas. I also like the traditional red and green but for me, berry and plum. yes.

I do get dressed on Christmas Day, it depends what I'm doing. If people are coming over or I'm going out, I'll get dressed up. If I'm staying in and not doing much, I will get dressed but not 'dressed up'.

4. If you could only buy one person a present this year who would it be?

I'd buy a present for my boyfriend, and I'd make something for everyone else. Kind of what I've done this year with candle jars except I've bought for my parents and sister as well as Tom.

5. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

Christmas morning. Never been allowed to open even one present on Christmas Eve!

6. Have you ever built a gingerbread house?

No! This really annoys me, I saw some in Ikea to build but I never picked one up because you had to buy the icing and sweets separately. My mum has bought one this year, post-built.

7. What do you like to do on your Christmas break?

I like to go to the Boxing Day sales. I like to go out for drinks with friends. Generally just eat too much food and just forget about uni for a few weeks. Prepare myself for next year by chilling out majorly....

8. Any Christmas Wishes?

I hope for everyone to have a happy and successful forthcoming year!

9. Favourite Christmas Scent?

I used to love the smell of a real Christmas Tree. We don't have real ones anymore though because of the pines falling off and cleaning up after it. I do really love that scent though. I also like the smell of cinnamon and food!

10. Favourite Christmas meal or treat?

It's got to be Christmas dinner! Christmas dinner is the best meal of the year! Also, bucks fizz!

  1. I completely agree with you about Home Alone! It is actually a pretty dark comedy, but still hilarious!
