Are you bored of mint green nail polishes? I hope not because today's review is on exactly that. This is the Barry M Nail Paint in ...yep... Mint Green.
I think this is one of their older shades and it's not a special one like a Gelly or Textured it's just a plain old nail polish. I bought it within a 3 for 2 deal where I also bought Almond and Sugar Apple.
I have to admit, this definitely isn't one of my favourites from Barry M. In fact once I take it off, I doubt I'll ever actually use it again unless with some glitter. It's just really boring. I love green, green is my favourite colour in the world but I'm really not a fan of this polish.
It just lacks something and I'm not sure what it is. Maybe the colour isn't very nice on me or the formula just isn't anything special... it also applies weirdly.
The first coat is so strange it sort of separates and goes blotchy. It won't go to the end of your nail and it looks very watery.
Upon the second application though it did even out thankfully and it didn't need another coat. I also added a shiny top coat just to make it look a little bit nicer.
The picture above actually does the polish a lot of justice because in real life it isn't quite that vibrant. The picture makes it look slightly like the shade Greenberry whereas Mint Green is definitely more green than blue.
After a few days wear the colour has faded on my nails and I have received no nail compliments which is sad because usually someone, at least one person asks what I'm wearing. That sums up this polish for me. Not a fan.
I probably will try more from the normal range at Barry M, I'll just try to pick the more vibrant shades.
If you're looking for a mint green polish from Barry M, I'd recommend either Greenberry or Sugar Apple!

Thoughts of the day!
- I bought one of the new Revlon Moisture Stains today! Haven't tried it yet but it'll be the first 'stain' product I've tried so I'm hoping for good things.
- I picked up my Debenhams order today and my mystery gift was a little zip bag from YSL. You know like what perfume brands give you when you buy something? I have to admit I was a little disappointed. I've seen what other people got and they looked much more interesting. I can't moan over something that was free though, can I?
- How do you like my new blog layout? I redecorated a little and I'm really enjoying it. I still can't decide whether to make the 'Popular Posts' pictures small again though :/ Any thoughts?
