I know it's late... I usually get my favourites up as the first post of the month but that just didn't happen this time. Better late than never though!
I have a few stand out favourites for the month of July. Not as many as usual because I wasn't keeping a list throughout the month like I usually do. These are the items which just popped into my mind when I started thinking about what I'd used a lot.
So lets get started!
Beauty wise, the Revlon lipstick in Pink Pout has been a stand out throughout July. As you know, I'm a big fan of bold lips but something just intrigued me about the mauve/lilac tone that this has.
I've been wearing it frequently as it's so easy to wear and it's not high maintenance throughout the day. I also wore it for my job interview!
Definitely need to buy more from the Super Lustrous range at Revlon.
Sticking with beauty, this is this Seventeen Skin WOW Primer. I've been loving this throughout July after using it on my sister for her prom. I like to mix it with my foundation to either lighten the shade or add some luminosity and it's been working a treat.
My go-to scent recently has been this Soap & Glory perfume. I've had this for ages and never used it but one day I decided to give it a go and I love it! It's fresh and clean and lingers around for a while. I have the other Soap & Glory scent too which I must starting using up in the future.
Next is this white v-neck top from Primark. I have been living in these v-necks. I have two white ones and a black one and I love to wear them with coloured pants or leggings. I see so many people buying the Topshop version for £12.00 a pop and I just think they should get themselves to Primark because these look just the same and they're £4.00!
Now on to a few random favourites...
My OGGI water bottle has been a star recently. I get through about 3 lots of juice a day in this and before I had it, I'd probably drink about one glass a day. I'm not saying you need a fancy water bottle but it definitely encouraged me to drink more water and juice.
This keeps drinks cold for ages and if I had to put a time on it, I'd say it keeps ice as ice for about 2-3 hours.
When I think of music these two are probably my most listened to songs this past month.
The Black Keys - 10 Lovers
Arctic Monkeys - Snap Out of It!
There have been others too such as the Tiesto remix of John Legend's All of Me and I've been liking ENVY's Am I Wrong, too.
The final thing I've been enjoying this month is watching vlogs on YouTube. I'll watch anything! It's like my dose of reality TV as I hardly ever watch anything on TV these days although I have been enjoying a programme called Child Genuis which is on on Sundays.
So that's everything. They are the main things Ive been loving this month :)
What have you been loving throughout July/beginning of August?
See you next time,
Thoughts of the day!
- Today has been one of those days. I LOST a top this morning that I was going to wear. Honestly, I got it out of my wardrobe and it completely disappeared. Still haven't found it yet. Then I dropped a load of makeup in Superdrug and it all smashed. That was embarrassing. Then I couldn't buy a coffee in Costa because their card machines were down and I had no cash on me. Then I was served by a super sassy waitress in M&S.
- On the flip side, I finally found Revolution in Superdrug and bought a few bits and pieces.
- Having a blogging day tomorrow as it's predicted to rain. A lot.
